The Georgia Latino Film Alliance. We are the voice of the next generations of filmmakers; our mission is to advance and build awareness of independent films and film as an art form; provide educational opportunities for students and Georgia Latino filmmakers and create opportunities for the Georgia communities to experience high-quality Latino films.

For over twelve years, the Georgia Latino Film Alliance (GALFA) has stood as the premier Latino and diverse media organization in the southeast, advocating for the most underrepresented and largest ethnic minority in the country. GALFA’s vision is to educate, empower, and inspire Latino content creators and diverse voices across all media platforms. GALFA serves the needs of BIPOC creators including, Actors, Writers, Executives, Producers, Musicians, Casting, Agents, Streamers Directors, and Industry professionals.

GALFA is home of producers, songwriters, musicians, sports professionals, digital media developers, actors, models, theater, film & television producers, lighting & production, venues, make-up artists, directors, production houses, lawyers, and various other support personnel involved in the entertainment community in the Wonderful State of Georgia!

·         39% of all box office tickets sold are from Latino.

We need more Diverse and Multicultural Stories

·         60% of Latinos Say they are more likely to watch content featuring their identity.

·         0.5% Hispanic LGBTQ+ in sitcoms (One of the most watched)

Latinos are responsible for opening night success of all blockbuster movies over indexing by 65% Latinos are on Fire.

·         18% of Total U.S. Populations

·         21% Millennials (23-37  yrs. old)

·         25% of Gen Z (1-21 yrs. old )

·         28 Years old ids the median Latino Age

·         68% of growth in films, games, and entertainment
