Georgia Latino Film Alliance Youth Film Boot Camp
Students will break into 4 groups of 5 and with guided instruction, complete a 1–5-minute film each. The completed films will be screened at the conclusion of the program. Students will learn all facets of filmmaking from development, pre-production production, post and red carpet.
AGES: Rising 8th 9th &10th graders

This camp is completely hands-on. Each group will be working together to develop, write, film, and edit a short film.

SUMMARY: This program is designed to cultivate an interest in filmmaking from pre- to post-production through hands-on youth education. By the end of the 4-week program, students will have worked in teams to complete one short film per team that will screen at the conclusion of the program.
GALFA ADVOCATES
Georgia latino Film Alliance advocates on policy issues which have direct impact on the alliance ability to accomplish and support its mission. In addition, GALFA Generates data and information to assist policy makers to better understand the opportunities of the Latino filmmaker population in GA.
CAPITOL VISITS
GALFA along with our partner associations hold one of the events of the year, Film Industry Day at the Georgia Capital. This exciting annual event is a great opportunity to meet all the different studio heads, directors actors writers and public officials while at the capitol we visit with key state representative and members to advocate the alliances policy plan and discuss the needs that affect our community and our industry. This unique opportunity allows you our members and supporters to be truly the voice for Latinos in the film industry, face to face meetings with lawmakers, these particular meetings are designed GALFA members the opportunity to ask your district and county Representative to write legislation supporting GALFA key Call to Action.
GEORGIA LATINO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL
The Georgia Latino Film Alliance and Film Festival the premiere film festival in the South East and only Afro Latino directed Film Festival in the country. Georgia Latino Film Festival celebrated in the state of Georgia, that features Latino directed, produced and acted films among other national and international entries. Through this Film festival we will showcase latino talent in Georgia and educate and empower the next generation of latino storytellers. For more info Click here
The FARM (FILM & ARTS REPRESENTATION MATTERS)
Georgia Latino Film Alliance - The Farm creates inclusive programs to support aspiring filmmakers with the tools to develop and be camera ready. Our sessions offer programming, coaching, mentoring and resources from GALFA and our partners to help BIPOC filmmaker in Atlanta bring their concepts to life.
